Dragonfly will verify eligibility of services with your insurance, and review any and all pertinent information with you.
Dragonfly will request authorization for services through your insurance. Once we have secured authorization, we'll reach out to you so that we can begin the next step!
A BCBA will conduct a full assessment with your family. This process can take anywhere from 5-14 days to complete. Below are the steps involved in the assessment process.
We'll review background information, medical history, and conduct some informal questionnaires with you as we get to know you and your family. This is where it's most important to give us a real time picture of how and where we can help the most!
The BCBA will conduct a minimum of two observations/assessments, preferably in various environments or times of day, to get to know your child. If any additional information is needed from you, they'll make sure to walk you through those items as well.
Once the assessment has been completed, the BCBA will review it with you, and then it's time to submit to insurance! Typically insurance informs us that they have a 7-14 day turn around for review and authorization.
Before services can get started, we just want to make sure everyone is on the same page. The next items are completed at your leisure, but must be completed before services can begin.
